On Friday, 30/11/2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Khai – Dean of Faculty of Environment Sciences and Dr. Do Huu Tuan – Vice Dean of Faculty of Environment Sciences had a meeting with Dr. Nagamani Bora – Director of Biotechnology Degree Programs -School of Biosciences – University of Nottingham and Mr. Joshua Hawkins – Global Engagement Manager – Office of Global Engagement – University of Nottingham.
The meeting was aimed to make a point of the collaboration between two universities and also to see the new axes of development, with regard to the new means offered by the School of Biosciences – University of Nottingham and Faculty of Environment Sciences – VNU University of Sciences.
At the meeting, Dr. Nagamani Bora also gave a lecture to students from 59th and 60th courses of Advanced Undergraduate program of Environmental Sciences. The lecture was focused on “Search and Discovery Strategies in Environmental Biotechnology – A case study on Actinomycetes”. Dr. Nagamani Bora was very impressed by the diligence and enthusiasm of the students toward the Environmental Biotechnology field.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Khai – Dean of the Faculty expressed his thanks to the visit of the Dr. Nagamani Bora – Director of Biotechnology Degree Programs -School of Biosciences – University of Nottingham. , Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Khai will strongly support the collaboration between two universities in many others fields such as organize scientific workshops, seminars, join teaching and research together for students, scientists and lectures as useful background for further cooperation in the future.
